| Kim
and Ken Hagar joined us as volunteers and opened their home to foster care
after adopting Heckyl and Jeckyl, a beautiful pair of White-Eyed Conures. These
mischievous birds are natural acrobats and clowns and are relatively rare in
captivity. As you can see, they have made themselves right at home in the Hagar
household. Kim and Ken insure that foster-care birds entrusted to them receive
the same loving care as these little guys.

| Brodie
Lowery is another of our volunteers that has opened her home to our foster-care
birds. Brodie is a licensed and bonded professional pet-sitter, the only one in
this area with large-bird experience. In fact, she does double duty by taking
care of our own flock when we slip away for a rest. In addition to her own
companion parrot Prissy, a 12 year old female SI Eclectus, Brodie also has 3
dogs, a cat and 2 horses.
